Common Questions
How do I identify a plant?
Take a clear photo of your plant using the camera feature in the app. Dr.Plants will analyze the image and provide identification information along with basic care instructions.
How do I diagnose a plant problem?
Use the diagnosis feature to take a photo or describe the symptoms you're seeing (yellow leaves, brown spots, drooping, etc.). Dr.Plants will analyze the information and provide a diagnosis with a step-by-step treatment plan.
How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). To cancel or modify your subscription:
- iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Dr.Plants
- Android: Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Dr.Plants

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your app store settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll continue to have access to premium features until then. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests are handled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) according to their respective refund policies. Please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support directly for refund requests.
Is my data private?
Yes. Dr.Plants does not require account creation and does not collect personally identifiable information. Plant photos are stored securely in our system but are not associated with your identity. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
How do I enable notifications for plant reminders?
When you create a treatment plan, you can set up daily reminders. The app will request notification permissions. You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.
